When I packed my bags to leave college to go home for a an extra week because our spring break was extended, I brought a few pair of leggings, sweatpants, and enough clothing to get me through a few days. I hopped on my flight, which had six people on it and arrived in Pittsburgh. At this time, things were pretty normal and COVID-19 was just becoming prominent in the US.

Well, here we are two months later. I'm stuck in Pittsburgh with no car, barely any clothes, and no one to hang out with thanks to social distancing. As someone who is used to working full-time, being a full-time student, and being social the past two months have been a struggle for me. But at times, I feel like this is my sign that I needed to slow down. I was running myself so thin I barely had enough time to job search in time for graduation.

To help my fellow busy bees, here are some things to help get you through the rest of quarantine:

- Make the famous TikTok whipped coffee. (https://www.cocoandash.com/tiktoks-whipped-coffee-recipe/)

- Clean out your closet & list the items on Poshmark.

- Read a book. Here is what i'm currently reading (https://www.amazon.com/This-Not-Fashion-Story-Breaking/dp/1641120177)

- Have an at home photoshoot. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GY269-Hdiwk)

- Start exercising. I bought a bike and ride it to get coffee every morning (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Schwinn-Cabo-Cruiser-Bike-26-inch-wheels-vintage-style-womens-frame-blue/55376954)

- Have an at home spa day. (Face masks, pedicure, manicure, take a bath, shave, self-tan)

- Try new cooking recipes. Were you really quarantined if you didn't make banana bread?

- Watch new shows/movies. (I'm watching Outer Banks and Dance Mom's)

- FaceTime or virtually hang with your friends.

- Take an online course. Harvard and many other colleges are offering free classes right now.

Most importantly use this time to get organized and better yourself so you are at your best when the world gets back together again!

xoxo,

LL
