It's important to truly feel like you know the person behind the blog. I know I have the typical "about me" page on my website but I figured we could dive a little deeper.

Hi nice to meet ya, my name is Logan:) and yes I'm a girl, and yes I always have to say that before people meet me. I was born in raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I hated where I was from until I moved away and realized how much my city has to offer. Growing up I was a competitive figure skater and danced at a dance studio from the age of three. I lived to perform, anytime family or friends came over I would either do my dance routines for them or sing. I've been a girly-girl since day one. Hair, makeup, clothes, photoshoots, and dancing have always been my favorite things. I even used to dress my brother up and make him have fashion shows with me.
I have always been an introvert but I used to be extremely shy and have major anxiety. In the summer before 7th grade my mom gave the most dreaded news that we were moving and the new house was in a different school district. I thought about where I was going to sit at lunch or who I was going to hang out with at recess or in between classes that entire summer. Doing my research, I learned cheerleading tryouts were a few weeks before school started. I decided trying out for the cheer team would give me a way to meet a few people before school started. I met so many people and had more friends on my first day of middle school than I had in my entire life. Switching school districts and being forced to be the "new girl" was the best thing that could of ever happened to me. I came out of my shell and made lots of friends. I spent every day either at skating, dance, or with my new friends.
When I got to high school I tried out for the National Champion PTDT and made it. PTDT was full of the high school's "popular girls" and I thought I was the shit. Looking back I laugh at how much I used to care about what people thought of me. High school was a huge change for me because I quit figure skating to have the 'typical' high school experience which allowed me to have a lot more free time to discover new hobbies like fashion and photography. I had a senior boyfriend, was on the best dance team in the country, and had great friends. I truly thrived in high school. When senior year came around and it was time to apply for colleges I knew where I wanted to go but didn't know what I wanted to do. Everything I really wanted to do didn't require a degree but also wouldn't make me much money. A few months later I found out I didn't get into my dream school, University of Louisville. At that time, I had only applied to one other school which was Kent State University. I wasn't excited but I tried to make the most of it.
College came around and I had a roommate that was exactly like me and liked everything I did, I really hit it off. Kent State opened my eyes to what I wanted to do with my life. I realized that I could make a career out of the creativeness and love for fashion I've always had. But, Kent State just wasn't doing it for me. It was where everyone from my high school went to school, and in the middle of nowhere, it just wasn't me. I decided to apply as a transfer student to my dream school and in just two weeks I was accepted to the business program. I packed up all my belongings and moved 6.5 hours away to be a University of Louisville Ladybird. I conquered my "college dream".
Less than two weeks ago, I graduated with a degree in marketing. Unfortunately, a pandemic strikes and it wasn't the graduation or the start of my career I was hoping for. I am still job searching. I have been offered three jobs already, but I don't want to accept a job unless I know I am going to love it. So that's the rundown. A short little life story.
What do I want to do?
I want to work in a creative marketing field. Whether its fashion, advertising, or social media as long as I can be creative, I will be happy. I want to move to either NYC or Los Angeles because that's where the most opportunities are present for my field.
Follow me along on my adventure to land my dream job:)
